April has certainly been a busy month fundraising for charity by the Hill McGlynn
staff.
UK Operations Assistant, Caroline Sweetenham (pictured below) raised £1,400 for
Leukaemia Care by running the London marathon in a time of 4 hours and 12 minutes.
Caroline is currently registering for the New York marathon in November, and if
she gets an entry, she will again be looking for sponsorship to raise funds for
Leukaemia Care.
London Recruitment Consultant Tom Compton spent his Easter Break taking sick children
from his local church to Lourdes in France. Hill McGlynn sponsored Tom and a child
to go together with a group of 20 other youngsters and also provided them with branded
Rugby shirts.
Following on from the sad news of Hill McGlynn Recruitment Consultant, Charlie Gulliford
passing away in November last year, Hill McGlynn staff raised £1,012 from a raffle
which was immediately matched personally by the Directors to bring the total to
£2,024. The proceeds have been sent to Charlie’s family who have set up ‘Charlie’s
Campaign’- which aims to raise funds for further cancer research.
