Hill McGlynn held their first Golf Tournament of the year at the Belfry this week for construction professionals from throughout the northern region.
Entering the tournament, which was played over 18 holes on the PGA National course, were 50 clients from the Hill McGlynn offices of Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Newcastle.
Competition was tight with the leaderboard changing several times on the last remaining holes, but Gavin Peach, Associate of Stiles Harold Williams, the Commercial Property Agents won the overall tournament with 37 points.
The Longest Drive was won by Steve Hamer of John Martin and the Nearest the Pin Competition, kindly sponsored by Crest Pay was won by Jamie Whitfield of Overbury. The Nearest the Pin competition sponsorship and the tournament raffle raised £620 for Hill McGlynns 30th Anniversary Charity Challenge in which the company is aiming to raise £30,000 for charity with the nominated charity being Cancer Research UK.
