Hill McGlynn win fifth prestigious industry award
Hill McGlynn rounded off 2006 with another prestigious industry award by winning
the Construction Marketing Planning Award.
The awards are open to all organisations within the UK construction industry and
attracted entries from Architects, Main Contractors, Consulting Engineers and Plant
Suppliers. Hill McGlynn were the only Construction Recruitment organisation shortlisted
for an award.
The Marketing Planning Award looked at the whole strategy and planning of marketing
from media buying, campaign strategy, design, PR, research, online communications
and planning and how all aspects would enhance and promote the organisations business
strategy and in turn, how the marketing planning affected the organisations success.
Marketing Manager, Penny Glazzard, said on accepting the award;
‘As a business, we are very proud of our established reputation and branding within
the industry and the challenge in 2006 was to take our brand positioning to the
next level. We redesigned our corporate identity and our website and along with
the new advertising strategy and designs, we have fully implemented a new identity
in the space of a few months. To be recognised by our peers in not just the construction
industry but in the world of marketing is something which we are very proud of.’
It has been a successful year for Hill McGlynn who started off 2006 by being included
for the first time in the respected ‘Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work
For’ award. This was shortly followed up by winning the ‘Best Technical Recruitment
Firm’ award at the Recruiter awards. Hill McGlynn have also been accredited with
a Best Companies accreditation and recently won the ‘Best Recruitment Advertising’
award.
