Investors In People Success for Hill McGlynn

"There have been improvements to the way training and development has been organised and managed which has given added value to the company and sets them apart from the competition".
The Investor In People Assessor - April 2001

These were the words after Hill McGlynn yet again surpassed and exceeded the criteria to achieve the Investor in people accreditation for the fourth consecutive time.

As one of the first organisations in the recruitment industry to achieve the Investor standard in 1993, Hill McGlynn has continued to be successful in every subsequent reassessment.

Training has been a key factor in the Hill McGlynn strategy from the companys inception 25 years ago in 1976. The unique VRB training concept and Support Staff training conferences were both highlighted as key indicators in the development and commitment to training within the company.

Holding the Investors in People award enables Hill McGlynn to provide a benchmark for clients and candidates and underlines the commitment to quality in the workplace. The commitment to quality was highlighted by the Investor in People Assessor who commented that:

"It was clear that staff are recognising that their role is moving towards account management rather than simply filling vacancies. Managers and staff take this very seriously and acknowledge that they have peoples careers in their hands. This philosophy is carried forward in terms of the consultants caring for their candidates."

Hill McGlynn recently recruited a further 50 consultants involving two-day assessments, which included a complete overview of the company and how it operates. Not a single job offer was refused. Hill McGlynn believes this and the Investor in People status speaks volumes about the organisations appeal as an employer.
